Presenter Bio
Dr. Hannah Steinberg graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Tufts University, majoring in Psychology and Child Development. She received her doctorate from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and is a current postdoctoral fellow at CHOC specializing in working with children with medical conditions, including eating disorders. Hannah completed an intensive training experience at Stanford’s Outpatient Eating Disorders program and CHOC at Mission’s Medical Stabilization Unit.

Objectives

  • Get familiar with eating disorders seen in children and teens.
  • Learn about different levels of care for eating disorders and understand why it is so important to get help fast.
  • Practice 3 ways to manage disordered eating at home, using Family Based Therapy techniques.
