Dr. William Adelman is the medical director of the CHOC Primary Care Network. and has more than 25 years of experience, board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. He treats children, adolescents, and young adults in Orange County. He has special interests in Tobacco and Marijuana cessation, reproductive health, growth and development, acne, sexually transmitted infections, and improving quality health systems for vulnerable populations. He is available for consultation in all areas of Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Adelman graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Religion and Literature and was a public high school English teacher prior to medical school. He is a retired US Army Colonel who deployed in support of Operation Iraqi freedom and Operation New Dawn.
