A leading expert in neonatology, Dr. Kukreja serves as medical director of the newborn hearing screening program and the associate medical director of the neonatal intensive care unit at CHOC Children’s. Dr. Kukreja provides the full spectrum of neonatal care, with special interests in the management of high-risk infants, apnea and newborn hearing. He is board certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Dr. Kukreja is president-elect of the Orange County Medical Association.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Kukreja served his fellowship and residency at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, respectively. He completed his internship and medical training at King George’s Medical College in Lucknow, India. Dr. Kukreja speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
