Anime Expo? Donates $18,500 to CHOC
CHOC was the recipient of $18,500 raised from proceeds of the 15th Annual Anime Charity Auction, held by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) last summer at the Anaheim Convention Center. ?We feel very lucky and honored to be selected by the SPJA as the recipients of the auction proceeds,? said Vicki Koda, community relations representative for the CHOC Foundation. ?The money will go to KidsCARE, a fund that benefits the greatest needs at CHOC.? The Anime Expo? is sponsored by SPJA and is a forum for enthusiasts of the industry involved in anime and the culture of Japan.
