Dr. Vivi Tran, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician at Los Alamitos Pediatric Medical Group in Los Alamitos, California, specializing in the health and well-being of children.
Dr. Tran grew up in San Jose, CA and moved to Southern California when she attended UCLA for college. After residency, she moved to Long Beach and joined Los Alamitos Pediatrics in 2019.
She enjoys seeing children of all ages and watching them grow. She considers it to be a true privilege to be able to work with their families to help children stay healthy. She is especially interested in preventative medicine, mental health, and developmental pediatrics.
She is also passionate about child advocacy. During medical school, she concurrently obtained her master’s degree in public health with an emphasis on community health. Dr. Tran currently is an active member on the board of directors of the Orange County Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.
During her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, gardening, and doing hot yoga.
