Dr. Gandhi was born and raised in upstate New York. She completed medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine and residency at The Mount Sinai program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey. After practicing in New Jersey at a large group for 10 years, she relocated to Southern California with her husband and daughters.
Dr. Ghandi began working at Total pediatrics in 2010. She is a board-certified pediatrician in practice for 24 years. As a member of the national and local chapters of the American Academy of Pediatrics she is involved in child advocacy. Dr. Gandhi speaks Gujarati and Spanish. Her areas of interest are nutrition, mental health, allergy and dermatology.
Along with reading and traveling Dr. Gandhi enjoys hiking and being outdoors. Dr Gandhi strives to not only serve her patients and families but aims to educate the community on learning differences and the importance of mental well-being for all children and teens.
