Dr. Katherine Williamson, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician at Southern Orange County Pediatric Associates in Ladera Ranch, California, specializing in the health and well-being of children. Practicing at SOCPA since 2012, she provides comprehensive, family-centered care for infants, children and teens.
Dr. Williamson is particularly passionate about child advocacy and empowering kids and teens to understand their bodies and take an active role in their own health journey. As a member of the /Rady Children’s Health Primary Care Network, she is part of a nationally recognizes pediatric health system to deliver coordinated care and streamline access to specialty care and additional services when necessary.
Dr. Williamson is affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been a leader in child advocacy since residency, partnering with schools, the OC Health Care Agency, and hospital leadership to enhance children’s health across Orange County. She was named Pediatrician of the Year by the AAP Orange County chapter in 2022 and is a regular contributor to news outlets, radio, and podcasts on children’s health topics.
Out the office, Dr. Williamson loves to unplug and be outdoors and moving as much as possible. Rock climbing, running, cycling, and swimming are her favorite activities.
