Dr. Celia Chiang, Pediatrics

Dr. Chiang was born in Oregon but moved to Southern California when she was one year old. She received her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at UCLA before changing course and receiving her medical degree from UCSD. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and joined Sea View Pediatrics in 2000.

Being a parent today is very challenging. My primary goal as a pediatrician is to work in partnership with parents to help them raise healthy, happy, well-adjusted children. This involves not only evaluating and treating my patients but educating the whole family, empowering them to make good health choices. I also strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment for children and their parents at every visit so that ‘going to the doctor’ is a positive experience (or at least not a negative one!).
