Andrew Martin is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) and is a member of the CHOC Specialists who treats infants, children, and teens in Orange County.

Andrew began his career at CHOC Hospital as a Patient Hospitality volunteer in 2009, which allowed him to gain an insightful experience into healthcare. This opportunity led to employment at CHOC as a clinical nursing assistant on the Medical-Surgical units while he finished his nursing degree. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, he sought nursing training through CHOC’s RN Residency Program in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) where he worked for 6 years as a bedside RN.

After two years in the PICU, working alongside some of the brightest minds in pediatric critical care, it was apparent that Andrew wanted to expand his education and pursue an Advanced Practice Nursing Degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. He attained entrance into California State University, Long Beach and pursued a master’s degree as nurse practitioner, specializing in pediatrics. Andrew graduated with honors and sought career advancement in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at CHOC in Orange, where he currently cares for critically ill infants, children, and teens.

The clinical expertise Andrew has gained over the past decade has provided a substantial foundation in his professional growth and development as an Advanced Practice Provider. His personal beliefs and professional qualities are those that align with CHOC’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
