DR. FELICE ADLER-SHOHET TO APPEAR ON AMERICAN HEALTH JOURNAL ON FRIDAY, JULY 19 AT 5:30 P.M.

CHOC Children's infectious disease specialist Felice Adler-Shohet, M.D. will appear as an expert on the highly rated award-winning healthcare television program American Health Journal on PBS SoCal TV on Friday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m.  She will discuss the topic of whooping cough in children.  

Dr. Felice Adler-Shohet has been with CHOC Children’s since 2008 and is currently the director of outpatient services for the division of infectious diseases. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Adler-Shohet received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. She completed her internship and residency training at the Vanderbilt University Children's Hospital. She completed her fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at Miller Children's Hospital, Long Beach and University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. Dr. Adler-Shohet has special interest in tuberculosis and neonatal infections. 
 
The recipient of more than 90 national and international awards, including 15 Telly Awards, American Health Journal airs on PBS and other national network affiliates that reach more than 30 million households.
