Dr. Daniel Mackey, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Pediatric & Adult Medicine (PAM) in Tustin, California, specializing in the health and well-being of children. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

With decades of experience in pediatric care, Dr. Mackey remains deeply committed to supporting families through every stage of childhood. He views his role not only as a physician, but as a partner to parents—helping guide them in raising healthy, happy children while providing thoughtful education on treatment options, illness prevention, and child safety.

Dr. Mackey is the proud father of three adult children and has been happily married to his wife for over 30 years. His wife is also a practicing pediatrician in the community, and together they share a deep commitment to caring for children and supporting families. He treasures time spent with his family and friends.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mackey enjoys staying active through outdoor pursuits such as hiking, cycling, exploring national parks, and traveling.

In addition to his local practice, he has participated in several medical mission trips, providing care to underserved populations in Haiti and the Dominican Republic—an experience that has further strengthened his commitment to compassionate, accessible healthcare.

Dr. Mackey is also actively involved in several committees at Rady Children’s Health, where he contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance pediatric services and patient care. Over the years, he has taken great pride in witnessing the remarkable evolution of the local children’s hospital—from a community-based facility into a leading regional center that continues to grow and innovate.
