Dr. Maria Santos, Pediatrics

Dr. Santos studied science and music at the University of Notre Dame, then received her M.D. from the University of California, Davis.  In 2000, she completed her residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and after several years in a busy private practice in Santa Monica, she moved to Northern California.  She returned to Southern California in the summer of 2011 and joined Sea View Pediatrics shortly thereafter.

“Raising children is a team effort, and I feel so privileged to play a role in helping children and their families live happier, healthier lives.  Some may believe that a physician’s main responsibility is to diagnose and treat illness, but to me, it’s at least as important that we work to educate and empower families, nurture relationships, and share in the joys and challenges of raising children in today’s world.”
