Biography
Dr. Leon is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been in practice in Orange County since 2011. Dr. Leon grew up in Southern California and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology from USC. Dr. Leon’s special interest in preventative care led her to earn a Master’s in Public Health from USC Keck School of Medicine. She then gained a strong background in newborn care and breastfeeding as a Public Health Educator, teaching classes to new mothers.
Dr. Leon earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed her pediatric residency at UC Irvine. Her past experience includes tending to newborns as a staff physician at Hoag Hospital and working as a pediatrician at a large medical group before joining Premier Pediatrics in 2021. Dr. Leon is also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and offers lactation services at the office.
She also speaks Spanish and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two young kids, and Cockapoo.
