Refunds/Cancellations: Cancellations must be received in writing prior to March 1, 2016. An administration charge of $25.00+admin/service fees will be deducted from your paid registration and a confirmation sent to you. Cancellations on or after March 1 and no-shows cannot be refunded.

Target Audience:  Pediatricians, Family Practitioners, Pediatric Endocrine Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Adult Endocrinologists, Residents and Fellows in Pediatrics in Orange County and its neighboring southern Los Angeles county and Inland Empire area of Southern California.

At the conclusion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Assess normal growth rates and patterns from abnormal growth to determine appropriate treatment of growth hormone deficiency.
  • Follow the improvements in triage process and care coordination between PCPs and Endocrinologists.
  • Describe the etiology of Idiopathic Short Stature and experience with growth hormone therapy.
  • Describe the phenotype and biochemical profile of GH Resistance and experience with GH and IGF-1 therapy.
  • Discuss with patients the use of GH therapy in SGA, Turner Syndrome, and Noonan Syndrome.
  • Understand how puberty affects growth and final height in a child.
