Outcomes: Physician Learners will be able to:

  • Use information about specific diseases and epidemics in a child’s home country to guide evaluation of the internationally adopted, immigrant or refugee child.
  • Order the proper tests to evaluate these children for infectious diseases.
  • Using available vaccine records, counsel families on the need for additional vaccines.
