CHOC Subspecialty Clinics Open In Newport Beach
Children from Orange County’s coastal communities will soon no longer need to travel to the CHOC Children’s campus in Orange for pediatric subspecialty care. CHOC has partnered with Hoag Hospital to provide these specialized services much closer to home — at the new Hoag Health Center in Newport Beach. The CHOC pediatric subspecialty center opening in Summer 2009, will be available for diabetes, endocrinology, hematology, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology and urology. Clinic hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hoag Health Center-Newport Beach is located at 500 Superior Avenue. For more information, please call (800) 514-HOAG (4624). UrgiKids Moves To Newport Beach in Summer 2009 Hoag Health Center-Costa Mesa is located at 1190 Baker St. For more information, please call (714) 668-2540.
The UrgiKids pediatric urgent care center will relocate to the new Hoag Health Center- Newport Beach in Summer 2009. UrgiKids will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays. Until then, services will be provided at Hoag Health Center-Costa Mesa.
