Enthusiastic crowd brings in $1.5 million for CHOC

The 18th annual CHOC/Disneyland? Resort Walk in the Park exceeded all expectations and raised more than $1.5 million for CHOC, with nearly 13,000 walkers participating in the event. In addition, more than 60 businesses and corporations sponsored the walk?the largest number of CHOC Walk sponsors ever.

According to Patrice Poidmore, special events director at CHOC, ?we experienced a tremendous increase in the number of corporate sponsors this year. From CHOCO Bear shaped popcorn to free milkshakes at Chick-fil-A, companies signed on in record numbers this year to help CHOC.?
