Super Estrella 107.1 FM, Jos? 97.5 FM raise money for CHOC Children?s
In December, radio stations Super Estrella 107.1 FM and Jos? 97.5 FM partnered with Children?s Miracle Network (CMN) to host a radiothon benefiting CHOC Children?s. Targeted toward the stations? Spanish-speaking listening audience, the three-day event raised over $18,000 for CHOC.
During the nationally-syndicated broadcast, which aired intermittently with the stations? regular programming, patients? families shared heartfelt stories about their experiences at CHOC.
Promotional staff from Jos? 97.5 FM and volunteers from Kohl?s also accepted donations at Super Antojitos restaurant in Santa Ana.
According to Antonio Tejeda, owner of Super Antojitos, ?it was our pleasure to host a booth for CMN and Jos? 97.5 FM in front of our restaurant. We knew our loyal customers would be happy to give to CHOC, and we were thrilled to be able to help.?
All money raised through Children?s Miracle Network supports CHOC?s KidsCARE fund, which provides resources for CHOC?s greatest needs, including clinical care, advancement, research, and education.
