CHOC Achieves Coveted "Magnet" Status
CHOC has received the highest honor bestowed to a hospital for nursing excellence. In July, our hospital received “Magnet designation” from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). With this award, CHOC has joined an elite group of hospitals nationwide. Only 24 children’s hospitals in the entire country have achieved this distinction. Magnet recognition honors healthcare organizations that demonstrate excellence in nursing practice and adherence to national standards.
