On The Mark On the Mark is published three-times-a-year by the CHOC Foundation. It features patient highlights, physician spotlights, news about major gifts and upcoming events, construction updates, and fundraising stories and is mailed to donors who support CHOC with a gift of $50 and more. |
Black & Decker Brings In Nearly $150,000 for CHOC
Last October, Black & Decker Hardware & Home Improvement Division held their 9th annual golf tournament to raise funds for CHOC. The event, which was held at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course, raised nearly $150,000. Black & Decker Hardware & Home Improvement Division President Jim Caudill kicked-off the event.
The event featured cocktails, dinner, and a live and silent auction and raffle. Attendees could also purchase numbered golf balls to participate in a ?golf ball drop? after the game. More than 150 golf balls were dropped from a helicopter hovering over the course, and the first golf balls in the hole or the closest to the hole won $1,000. Three lucky winners split the prize.
