An on-call psychologist
is available after hours and on the week-ends for patient
emergencies.
Specific psychological services offered include:
- Individual,
family, and group therapy
- Psychological, developmental,
and neuropsychological assessment
- Cognitive-behavioral,
relaxation, and biofeedback techniques for pain control
- Parent training, and inpatient psychological consultation
to children who are hospitalized at CHOC
Services
are available to children and their families who are
hospitalized at CHOC,
outpatients, or referrals from the community.
