Dr. Andrew R. McIntosh, Pediatric Child Neurology

Dr. Andrew McIntosh has special interests in behavioral/developmental disorders (including developmental delay and autism spectrum disorders) and general child neurology. He has been invited to present research findings at the American Academy of Neurology Annual Conference and had his research published in the Journal of Neurology. Dr. McIntosh has presented lectures on pediatric epilepsy and childhood headache.

Dr. McIntosh is board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to joining CHOC Children’s, Dr. McIntosh received his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed his internship and residency training in pediatric and adolescent medicine, and conducted his fellowship training in child neurology at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. McIntosh speaks fluent Spanish. His philosophy of care is to provide personalized, expert and innovative neurological treatment in a comfortable environment.
