CHOC BENEFITS WHEN PEOPLE "EAT MOR CHIKIN" AT SELECT CHICK-FIL-A LOCATIONS IN SEPTEMBER

August 18, 2008

The famous Chick-fil-A cows have another reason to encourage consumers to "eat mor chikin" – this time for charity and with the help of CHOCO the Bear, the beloved mascot of Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).  From September 22, 2008 – September 27, 2008 at select Orange County locations, CHOC will receive 20 percent from each sales transaction, including catering orders, when the customer mentions the hospital.

The following Orange County Chick-fil-A locations are participating in the week-long promotion:

  • Tustin Legacy, 2889 Park Ave., Tustin, 92782, 714-258-1400
  • The Market Place, 13490 Jamboree Rd., Irvine, 92602, 714-730-9100
  • Woodbury Town Center, 6428 Irvine Blvd., Irvine, 92620, 949-551-4232
  • North Orange, 2575 N. Tustin St., Orange, 92865, 714-685-1707
  • La Habra Marketplace, 1801 W. Imperial Hwy, La Habra, 90631, 562-691-8112
  • Bristol & MacArthur, 3601 S. Bristol St., Santa Ana, 92704, 714-540-0020

CHOCO is scheduled to make appearances at each of the locations throughout the week.  In addition, the kid ambassadors for the CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk in the Park, the hospital’s biggest fundraiser of which Chick-fil-A is a sponsor, will join CHOCO at the North Orange location on September 25th, between
6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
