CHOC Children’s cardiologist Pierangelo Renella, M.D., will appear on multiple PBS and network affiliates as an expert on the highly rated award-winning healthcare television program “American Health Journal.” Dr. Renella will address the topic of congenital heart conditions on the following stations and at the following dates/times:
• KTVK-TV Channel 3 (Phoenix, AZ) on August 11th at 6:30 a.m.
• KUTV-TV Channel 2 (Salt Lake City, UT) on August 12th at 7:30 a.m.
• KPSP-TV Channel 2 (Palm Springs, CA) on August 11th at 3:30 p.m. and August 12th at 5:30 a.m.
Dr. Renella received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. He did his internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and completed fellowships at the University of California, Los Angeles and Children's Hospital Boston. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
The recipient of more than 90 national and international awards, including 15 Telly Awards, “American Health Journal” airs on PBS and other national network affiliates that reach more than 30 million households.
