Nationally recognized molecular genetics expert, Thomas Kunicki, Ph.D., has joined the CHOC Children’s Research Institute as senior scientist. Dr. Kunicki’s expertise is dedicated to the research of molecular genetics of thrombosis and hemostasis.
For over 30 years, Dr. Kunicki’s research has yielded continuous National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding. At CHOC, he will continue his principal investigator role in the NIH-funded study of mouse genes that regulate hemostasis and thrombosis. Dr. Kunicki currently serves as founder and chairman of the ThromboGenomics Subcommittee with the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and is a member of the American Society of Hematology.
