The dancing and singing skills of more than 80 of Orange County’s prominent leaders helped to about a half million - $575,000 – for CHOC Children’s in the recent CHOC Follies XII: “The Princess and the Prius.” The hilarious musical production hit the stage April 2-4 to enthusiastic crowds.
Over the past 11 years, the CHOC Follies has earned a reputation as one of Orange County’s most original, successful charity events. Under the guidance of professional director John Vaughan, the show has netted $4 million for CHOC Children’s in support of patient care, research and education. This year’s proceeds are designated to support the oncology school room in CHOC’s new patient care tower.
