CHOC CYCLING SWEETIES COMPLETE BICYCLE RIDE AGAINST DIABETES
June 14, 2008
On June 14th, The CHOC Cycling Sweeties successfully completed the 2008 Tour de Cure bicycle ride against Diabetes. Our third year as a team included 9 riders, raising over $1600. The ride was 34 miles and we had 5 first time ever riders. Three of our new riders lost a total of 75# while in training for this event. The group gave up Saturday mornings for 4 months in preparation and it really showed on ride day. The photo was taken at the start of the ride.
