CHOC CHILDREN'S NURSES HONORED BY ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA NURSE LEADERS

CHOC Children’s is pleased to announce that Julie Vaupel-Phillips, RN, MS, CCRN, director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Transport Services, and Jan Kidwell, RN, BSN, MBA, director of clinical financial management, have been recognized by the Association of California Nurses Leaders (ACNL) for their outstanding contributions to nursing leadership.  Vaupel-Phillips was recognized for best practices in recruitment, retention and outreach, while Kidwell was honored in the category of “Best Practice - Innovation.”

These extraordinary CHOC Children’s nursing leaders received their awards at the recent ACNL Annual Conference in Monterey, California.
