August 10, 2007

Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) was recently honored with the Gold Award in the 2007 Aster Awards competition, an elite competition recognizing the nation's most talented healthcare professionals for excellence in advertising. CHOC's entry - "CHOC - Light," a television commercial, scored in the top 5 percent.

With approximately 3,000 entries, participants in the Aster Awards compete against similarly sized organizations from across the United States. Judging criteria include creativity, layout and design, typography, production quality, knowledge transfer and overall excellence.

Entries were judged by a diverse panel of individuals who are considered experts in healthcare marketing. All winners are posted on www.AsterAwards.com.
