17TH ANNUAL CHOC/DISNEYLAND® RESORT "WALK IN THE PARK" SET FOR OCTOBER 21ST

WHAT: Sights are set high for the 17th Annual CHOC/Disneyland® Resort “Walk in the Park,” Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s largest annual fundraiser. This year’s Walk is expected to break numbers once again, with an anticipated turnout of 13,000-15,000 walkers and volunteers. The Walk provides funding to enhance hospital programs, services, research and outreach efforts.

Walkers will have the unique opportunity to stroll through Disneyland® and Disney’s California Adventure™ theme parks before they officially open for the day, and meet and greet their favorite Disney® characters. After the Walk, participants can celebrate in grand style in the Downtown Disney® post-event festival. This event is the only one of its kind to take place at the Disneyland® Resort.

WHEN: Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 7:15 a.m.

WHERE: The 5K route starts on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland® and ventures through Disneyland® and Disney’s California Adventure™ parks. Entertainment will follow in the Downtown Disney District.
