"CANYON CRUISE FOR CHOC" ROARS THROUGH SOUTH COUNTY FOR CHOC AT MISSION PATIENTS
December 06, 2005

Approximately 100 motorcycle riders - many of them firefighters and police officers, plan to participate in the first "Canyon Cruise for CHOC" on the morning of Sunday, December 18th to benefit the patients at CHOC at Mission. The ride, which is about 25 miles, is a no fee ride, but organizers ask that participants make a monetary donation, or donate a new, unwrapped toy to CHOC at Mission. The line up will start at 9:15 a.m. at Roses Cantina (20722 Rose Canyon in Trabuco Canyon), with the first riders departing by 10 a.m. for the hospital (27700 Medical Center Road in Mission Viejo). "Canyon Cruise for CHOC" is being organized by Scott Bissonnette, a Rancho Santa Margarita firefighter, who has also arranged to have Big John - the Talking Fire Engine lead the ride. For the occasion, Roses Cantina will be open for breakfast for riders. Participants are welcome and can learn more by calling 949-858-8801.
