CHOC Children’s Laboratory Services offers patients and physicians access to some of the most advanced tests and processing equipment and specialists in Southern California. Our outpatient lab services are offered on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed for major holidays. Inpatient services are available 24 hours, year round.

 

Physicians within the CHOC Children’s computer network may access results via Cerner. Physicians not on the CHOC Children’s computer network can have results faxed. Basic test results are often ready in as little as 60 minutes. Other, more advanced or complicated tests, may take longer to process.
