Queen of Hearts Guild

This year, the Queen of Hearts Guild of Laguna Beach is celebrating its 52nd year of service. Our guild was formed even before the hospital opened its doors in 1964. In the years that followed, more guilds formed throughout Orange County, and are united in serving CHOC Children’s today.

The women of our guild enjoy each other’s friendship while serving CHOC Children’s. We are committed to the health and well being of all children, and we fundraise to advance research, outreach, and education, as well as patient care to the children of our communities.

Thank you for supporting the Queen of Hearts Guild and CHOC Children’s.

Guild membership is a family tradition in many Orange County homes. Grandmothers, daughters, and granddaughters all participate in their local guilds. Some of the charter members of the guild continue to participate today, an lifelong friendships have been made in working towards this common goal.

Queen of Hears has raised funds in recent years for two major projects. The first was for the CHOC Breathmobile. The CHOC Breathmobile is committed to providing comprehensive asthma care to school age children. It is considered a safety net for asthmatic children, including underserved children in Orange County. The second project was funding for a nurses station in the new Bill Holmes Tower. Nurses stations outside the patient rooms allow for nurses to keep close observation of the children during those critical hours of their treatment and hospitalization.
