Physician Bio

Dr. Swartz attended medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her internship at University of California, Los Angeles and her residency at Columbia University, Neurologic Institute. She performed fellowships at UCLA and West LA VAMC. She is affiliated with the Western EEG Society, American Epilepsy Society, New York Academy of Science, American Academy of Neurology, American Association for Neurosciences, and the American Neurology Association. Honors include Diplomat-American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Diplomat-American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, Diplomat-National Board of Medical Examiners, Fellow-American Neurological Association and Treasurer-Epilepsy Section, American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Swartz is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her philosophy of care: Patients need to be treated with respect for their quality of life. No person should be allowed to continue having seizures. Her special interests include research with the progression of seizure disorders.
