Physician Bio

Dr. Lam attended medical school at Harvard Medical School. He completed both his internship and his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He performed a fellowship at the Children?s Memorial Hospital, Chicago. He is affiliated with the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group, OCMA, American Medical Association, American Pediatric Surgical Association, and the Massachusetts General Hospital Surgical Society. Honors include Harvard Medical School Scholarship. Dr. Lam received a 2006-2007 Physician of Excellence Award from the Orange County Medical Association.

Dr. Lam is board certified in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery. His philosophy of care includes making kids better with true passion and love while providing the patient with the highest quality of care and technology. Dr. Lam's special interests include repair of congenital diaphragmatic hernias, minimally invasive surgery in pediatric patients (laparoscopic and thoroscopic surgery), and robotic surgery. Dr. Lam also speaks Chinese and Vietnamese.
