Physician Bio

Priscilla Armstrong, Psy.D., is a bilingual Spanish-speaking board-certified pediatric neuropsychologist. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology of Alliant University. She completed an APA-accredited internship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and a post-doctoral fellowship at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. Dr. Armstrong is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology. She has been with CHOC Children’s since 2006.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Armstrong supervises neuropsychology practicum and intern students as part of their clinical neuropsychology training. Her clinical interests include pediatric neuropsychological assessment of medical/neurological disorders that affect cognitive and behavioral functioning. She has a special interest in the neurocognitive effects of traumatic brain injury, autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit disorders and metabolic disorders. She has given many professional presentations on these topics.
