Lien Trinh, M.D., is a clinical instructor with the University of California, Irvine’s pediatric department and has been working at CHOC Children’s as a pediatric endocrinologist since 2006. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine and did her internship and residency at New York Medical College - St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. She did a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.Research
Dr. Trinh is currently involved in a North American multi-center study evaluating a medication that may improve and prolong the residual function of beta cells in early and new onset type I diabetes. She is also involved in a study of growth hormone and IGf1 therapy in children with short stature.Published Works
