Dr. Batra and his colleagues are also involved in two multicenter arrhythmia studies. In one of the studies, he and his team are studying anti-arrhythmic medications for infant supraventricular tachycardia. In the other study, Dr. Batra and his team are investigating the incidence of arrhythmias in lateral tunnel versus extracardiac Fontan procedure. In addition to his work with UCI, Dr. Batra is involved in a number of other ongoing research projects. One such project is the long-term, open-label safety study of atomoxetine hydrochloride in patients 6 years and older with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. He is also involved in the long-term, open-label single-arm study of NRP104 30mg, 50mg, or 70mg per day in adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
