through Innovation and Compassion.

Cancer | Heart | Neuroscience | Orthopaedics

Cancer Institute At the CHOC Cancer Institute, we specialize in bringing hope to patients and their families living with pediatric cancer. Rated as one of Child Magazine’s top Children’s Hospitals, we are dedicated to nurturing, advancing and protecting the health and well-being of all children and are at the forefront in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent cancers.
Long Term Follow Up
The Long-Term Follow-Up Clinic at the CHOC Cancer Institute is designed to detect the development of side effects from therapy that can occur years after treatment is completed. Our program is the only one in the Orange County region that provides support to cancer survivors and their families.

SeventyK.org
There are approximately 70,000 people aged 15-39 diagnosed with cancer every year. For over two decades there has been little or no improvement in survival for this age group. By signing this bill, you are supporting the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Bill of Rights to be established as a standard for care to meet the needs of this underserved population.

It Can't Own Me
Social networking site designed to end the loneliness and isolation often felt by young cancer patients and young adults.

The National Melanoma Awareness Project
The National Melanoma Awareness Project is a medical-student run educational outreach program directed at local middle school and high school students. This community service project educates all participants about skin safety and skin cancer with an emphasis on melanoma prevention and self –screening for earlier detection.
