Community Outreach Parent Empowerment (COPE)

Community Outreach Parent Empowerment (COPE) is an innovative program supporting families whose children have an epilepsy diagnosis.

Join us monthly and hear from expert CHOC nurses and experienced parents on topics including seizure first aid, diastat administration, navigating clinic visits and hospital admissions, tips for managing ACTH injections at home, epilepsy surgery from a parent’s perspective, and more.

Additional experts such as epileptologists, dietitians and pharmacists will speak quarterly. Meetings may also include visitors from community programs and resources.

* Please note: this program is open to current CHOC patients and families at this time.
